But are they *special* snowflakes? Is each one as unique as every other one?

looks killer. I have a set of early ws6 wheels I've been meaning to finish refinishing lol. What did you use to strip the paint/clear. My best results where from aircraft stripper.

I've been loking for WS6 snowflakes for ever! For this set I just sanded down any corrosion and removed a lot of the old paint. For the

for the polished bit I took a brass brush to it and followed that with a couple different grades of steel wool. They cleaned up nicely.

how did you tape off the polished bit before painting? What did you paint the gold with?

I used masking tape and then went around with an xacto knife cutting the tape to shape (it takes forever to do). For paint I start with two or three coats of super durable spray can primer, follow that with three coats of Rustoleum spray gold metallic (very close to factory color), and finish off with two or three coats of super durable gloss clear. Let it dry and then peel the tape off.

Arguably the best wheel design OF ALL TIMES!
Well done.

Super shitty late response pre apology, sorry. Yeah I love those ws6 wheels. I only have one wheel kinda done, got ambitious then got rid of the S-10 they where gonna go on. Guessing your bitchin' looking snow flakes are going on a Trans Am?
